James Pettit // Lab Manager
About
I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science in June of 2007 from UC Santa Cruz. Currently, my work includes maintaining the LEEPS website, programming their experimental applications, supervising the undergraduate programmers, and designing a new framework for networked-experimental applications/games. I also do work on my Dad's website - Cortec Scenery, and occasionally for friends/relatives.
Ideas
-
LEEPS Participant Scheduler
- using Google Web Toolkit and Google App Engine, create an app where participants can enter their email address and available times (Monday through Friday)
- available times and email are saved to the app's database
- emails are compared to the LEEPS participant database, non-participants are ignored
- available times may be compared to get a heuristic for when participants are available for scheduling experiments
